Joining the UB MBA Consulting Group offers a unique opportunity to apply academic theories to real-world business challenges.
As a consultant in our group, you are expected to engage deeply with each project, applying critical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills to deliver strategic solutions. The group is highly selective, fostering a tight-knit community that prioritizes professional growth and team development.
Requirements to Qualify

Enrollment Status: Must be a MBA student; dual degree students are also eligible.

Application Timeline: Our application process happens once a year in the fall semester.

Selection Process: Candidates must submit an application followed by an interview. Selections are highly selective, typically admitting around 10 MBAs per class.

Commitment: Consultants are generally expected to work on one project per semester, totaling up to three projects across their tenure.

Leadership Potential: In your second year, there are opportunities to lead projects, building on the experience gained in your first year.

Professional Development: Participation in our annual professional development weekend every spring is essential for team development and personal growth.

Interest and Attitude: Applicants must demonstrate a clear interest in consulting and possess a problem-solving attitude.
